Mental Health Books and Guide Books
to Adjust all Areas of Your Life
to Beat Bipolar Disorder

Mental health books and other guide books played a huge role in helping me overcome my bipolar disorder.

Many of them enabled me to write my life story:

"It Takes Guts To Be Me: How An Ex-Marine Beat Bipolar Disorder"

This is my autobiography and also contains my system "TORQUE BACK". I've had quite a wild ride and I made it so as often as I could. It's some story and one that I'm glad has taken new turns. I could not have burned that bright for much longer.

And that led to my guidebook as well:

And to this day, I never interrupt the flow of new books into my life. The difference now is, I don't have to read so many mental health books. I now have more pressing topics to learn about than improving my health. I improved it enough to begin expanding other parts of my persona. I like to read about how to maximize my time on this Earth and to gain even greater joys than I already have.

I read to problem solve. The mental health books I consumed to beat my bipolar helped me in this way but now the problems have changed. Now I focus on learning how to better process all the info I take in and to become aware, as quickly as possible, when I should stop reading a particular item or just skim it. In this way, I do not clutter my mind with less than optimal information bytes.

I read constantly to shape and reshape my thoughts and ideas on how to build my future brighter. This grants me access to more ways to better teach all of you how to do what I did, should you need to, and to teach myself how to get help from those who are ahead of me on the life success continuum. My mental health books built my stable base of operations. I want to explode again but this time with purpose and in a way that brings me satisfaction.

Simply put, I love to read and reading has saved my life more than once. Please read the mental health books and guide books that I have read:

"A Promise of Hope"
Autumn Stringham is responsible for the company that most helped to save my life. That cannot be understated.

"The Davinci Method"
Garret LoPorto opened my mind to its true power and purpose and explained why it was OK that I did not seem to fit in anywhere for long or be happy with what most seem happy to have. My life took off like a rocket when I read this.

"Too Good to be True? Nutrients Quiet the Unquiet Brain"
David Moyer confirmed, in more ways than one, that I was on the right path to true healing before I was even fully convinced myself. This was truly one of the best mental health books that I ever read. He opened my eyes to misunderstood and unknown triggers and causes for bipolar. Stuff never told to me in any doctor's office.

"Molecules of Emotion"
Dr. Candace Pert found the actual biophysical mechanisms within our bodies that allow us to feel joy and happiness. Her life's work and her own spritual journey gave me both the technical knowledge I needed to get better in cetain areas and the tools to explain it to others. She is one of the most famous scientists in the world.

"The Omega-3 Connection"
Dr. Andrew Stoll explained in great detail why I should put fish oil into my life and this then led me to Dr. Carol Locke, the designer of the world's best fish oil supplement for relieving depression and bipolar. A must-have mental health book for your collection.

"Mega Brain Power"
Michael Hutchinson did a massive amount of research, using himself as the testee, to confirm the power of mind machines. There are many devices out there to help you adjust your mood and mindset, learn faster, or think clearer.

"The Body Ecology Diet"
Donna Gates endured her own hell from battling a systemic yeast infection called Candadiasis. It's in all of us but in some of us it grows out of control. Bipolar symptoms can be a result of the toxins it produces in your blood and organs.

"Bipolar Disorder - A Guide for Patients and Families"
Dr. Francis Mark Mondimore, a highly respected psychiatrist, explains the types, causes, treatments, and prognoses of bipolar disorder from a clinician's viewpoint

"Touched with Fire: Manic-Depressive Illness and the Artistic Temperament"
Kay Redfield Jamison discusses the link between manic depression (bipolar) and creativity. Does having the artistic temperament mean one is more prone to being bipolar? Does this help the artist if it is so?

"The Day the Voices Stopped: A Memoir of Madness and Hope"
Kenneth Steele suffered from schizophrenia for most of his life. The illness took him down hundreds of horrible roads but he emerged victorious. There are many similarities beteween schizophrenic and manic depressive symptoms. A pain-filled autobiography with an inspirational ending.

"The Making and Un-Making of a Marine: One Man's Struggle for Forgiveness"
Larry Winters is a Marine Vietnam War vet. I met him once at his home. His life paralled mine. His experience of being a Marine and what that did to his mind was similar too. His book indirectly shows how someone like me could become bipolar, or more so, from being in the military. Larry is a huge force for veterans care in the world.

"What Color Is Your Parachute?"
Richard Bolles was the first person to show me how I could get off the employee treadmill and onto a vehicle for success that suited my skillset. Irritation can worsen or cause bipolar. Hating your job is a mighty big irritation. Do something about it.
